I’m sorry, but I’m tired of Doug’s focus on brutal acceleration and lots of toys and gadgets. It’s like someone that buys a product, any product, based on nothing more than a spec sheet. There’s more to life than this, the intangibles and such, that never show up when you’re doing nothing more than a simple count.

Like a friend of mine that wanted a GT-R, and when I asked him why he just quoted 0-60 times. Sorry, but to me driving is more than transmission-wrecking 0-60 sprints. Or the LG phone I hated that I bought based only on the fact that it had the best features. Never again.

I think the category scores should be relative not absolute.

Just like there’s no point in comparing acceleration between a truck and a supercar, there’s also no point in comparing storage capacity between a truck and a supercar.

It’s still possible to have good acceleration..... for a truck.

The more I see about this truck the less I like it. For a comparable price, or even lower after rebates, you can get a “real” 6.7L Cummins at the Ram dealer down the street from the Nissan dealer.

The Ram will be just as nice inside, ride the same, be just as crappy to park, and have significantly more POWAHHH. The sales and service people at the dealerships will be just as incompetent as well.

I’d argue that the Ram is nicer inside. But this truck is pointless. Doug was actually quoting 2017 stats on the F150 tow rating, because now it’s rated for 13k. That will be a better all around truck, with much lower maintenance costs.
